The Holiday Rush maybe over and the slew of party invitations may have dwindled down, but here are 3 quick ways to detox and relax yourself after all the stress! Much better? It can be done for free!

#1 Drink water for the whole day

Ditch the cappuccinos, teas and the sodas and start cleansing yourself with some good old water. It helps you flush out the toxins in your body, re-hydrate and rejuvenate you all at the same time!

#2 Turn off all social media

If you just went through one party after another, surely you have done ENOUGH socializing and absorption of other people’s ideas, quips etc. Just for one day, stay away from the chatter and just relax. Sleep. Put your feet up and watch television, read a book or just plain enjoy the moment!

#3 Take time to sit down and just breathe for a few minutes

For others, this is called meditation, but for the newbies, it’s basically just focusing on your breathing, being still and aware of your body. Meditation is known to relax and slow down almost anyone. It takes practice but it will help you at least be aware of your breathing. A few minutes of this and you will come out refreshed!
